Overview

The design changes implemented in this challenge transitioned the look from a basic interface to a vibrant, modern, and user-friendly design. These improvements are likely to enhance user engagement, usability, and overall satisfaction, making the app more appealing. The focus on clear visual hierarchy, prominent navigation, and an engaging color scheme are all positive steps towards creating a more effective and enjoyable user experience.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Before:

  • Colors: The use of colors is minimal, with a predominant white background.
  • Visual Hierarchy: The visual hierarchy is not well-defined. Key elements like the balance and options are not prominently displayed.
  • Navigation: The navigation bar icons are small and might not be very noticeable.
  • Information Display: The main balance information and other key actions (like viewing bills and paying bills) are present but do not stand out due to the lack of strong visual cues.
  • Buttons: The buttons are small and may not be easily accessible or noticeable to users.

After:

  • Colors: The new color scheme incorporates a gradient background with vibrant colors (white, purple #C205D6, and red #E4002B). This creates a more engaging and visually appealing interface.
  • Visual Hierarchy: There is a clear improvement in visual hierarchy. Key information and actions are more prominent due to the use of contrasting colors and larger elements.
  • Navigation: The navigation bar now has a more prominent and clear design with larger, more visible icons.
  • Information Display: The balance and other key information are now displayed within a card with a solid background color, making it stand out. The ‘Pay Bill’ button is larger and more noticeable.
  • Search Bar: Introduction of a search bar at the top enhances usability by allowing users to quickly find what they need.
  • Buttons: Buttons and interactive elements are now larger and more accessible.

WHY THIS COULD BE BENEFICIAL?

The vibrant colors and modern design are more likely to capture and retain user attention. A visually appealing interface can significantly improve user engagement and satisfaction.
