Overview

I took the initiative to revamp the My T-Tag app, developed by Amber Innovations Limited, to enhance its user interface and experience. This project demonstrates my UX/UI design skills and my ability to quickly elevate digital experiences.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Before:

  • Bright but cluttered interface
  • Hard-to-read content due to lack of contrast
  • Complex navigation
  • Minimal visual engagement
  • Colors that did not reflect the brand image

After:

  • Clean, intuitive design with improved contrast
  • Simplified navigation
  • Enhanced visual elements
  • Consistent brand identity using the company's logo colors (orange and black)

WHY THIS COULD BE BENEFICIAL?

  • The current app lacked brand consistency, so I incorporated the brand's color scheme (orange and black) from the company’s logo, ensuring a cohesive brand identity.
  • Elements within the app were not easily legible, so I transitioned the look from a bright, inaccessible, cluttered interface to a clean, intuitive design, using contrast and color theory principles to ensure better readability and user engagement.
  • There were multiple entry points for flows that could have been simplified, so I removed the bottom navigation bar. I chose to keep and add familiar entry points that were already visible throughout the rest of the screen, thereby reducing user choices to improve their decision-making speed.
  • I streamlined processes by reducing interaction distance and complexity, thereby enhancing the users' overall experience.
