Overview
Jamaicans need a way to access and share timely, critical information about local conditions and emergencies to improve community response and preparedness. This project seeks to address the absence of a dedicated platform for real-time, reliable community alerts in Jamaica. Existing methods for receiving critical information, such as social media, news stations, and publications, often lead to delays and a spread of misinformation.

My Goal
Enhance community resilience and safety in Jamaica by providing a real-time, user-driven platform for sharing and accessing critical information about local conditions, emergencies, and environmental alerts. This enables residents and visitors to make informed decisions, respond effectively to local challenges, and support one another in times of need.

All residents and visitors in Jamaica, with a focus on those in more vulnerable or remote areas.
